| The fiscal year 2004-2005 has seen
Shifting to Wellness under go a complete Restructuring Project.
The two phases of this Project were; updating the Shifting to Wellness
research and modules, and re-training our certified Trainers.
New Manuals
The new manual has not only strengthened the link between the employee
guidebook and Trainer’s manual by providing information and
strategy frameworks for addressing shiftwork issues, but also developed
a more holistic health promotion model. This model includes addressing
shiftworkers’ challenges regarding gender and cross-cultural
differences, sexual activity, spiritual wellness, and community
and relationships.
Recertification
Recertifying our Trainers was undertaken in November 2005. This
was an opportunity for Trainers to not only familiarize themselves
with the new manuals, but also to share resources and adult education
tips.
